Reaping the rewards!

New Moon in Sagittarius, 18th December at 26 degrees.

This exceptional New Moon in Sagittarius, marks the end of an era and old paradigm and the beginning of the new.

Just one day after the New Moon, Saturn the great teacher and planet of karma, ends his three-year stay in the sign of Sagittarius,  just two days before the Winter Solstice and the end of Mercury retrograde.

As much as Saturn often stretches our limits in lessons of maturity, responsibility, discipline and commitment, he also has the power to reward like no other planet at the end of his transit.

Rather like Santa Claus, the wise old man planet Saturn, will reward accordingly to how well we have learned our Saturn lessons these past three years in the themes ruled by Sagittarius. Such as seeking wisdom through breadth of vision, expanded consciousness and having the ability to see through the eyes of the other with empathy, as opposed to dogmatism and blind faith. And by living according to our personal truths and principles, and being loyal to these.

“Where wisdom reigns, there is no conflict between thinking and feeling.”

― C.G. Jung

It is indeed a time of reckoning, as the ruler of the New Moon, Jupiter in Scorpio, makes a tense aspect (square) to the North Node of fate, when the truth will be revealed. For some, this can give deep revelations and insights, helping us to free ourselves of any limitations, but for others, it can bring the bitter truth of reality. Especially so, if we have been living on belief systems based on delusion or dogmatic views.

The tide is turning now on a personal and collective level. Indeed, on a political level right now, we are beginning to witness how belief systems built upon the flaky foundations of delusion, are beginning to fall apart.

Saturn in Capricorn from the 19th Dec 2017 to Dec 2020, reminds us to rely on ourselves first of all, to make things happen. To take responsibility for our dreams and turn them into reality. Helping us to get highly motivated and determined, with staying power for the long haul and providing us with a solid foundations to build our dreams upon.

Saturn calls upon us to get more ambitious, to take better, more deliberate aim, and to accomplish something of true and lasting significance.

This New Moon and the ingress of Saturn into Capricorn on the 19th Dec, takes place under one of the best possible influences. The planet of love and harmony Venus in Sagittarius, is presently conjoined to the Sun and will continue to be until 30th January. This can mark a time of experiencing our own personal love revolution, as we feel good and confident about ourselves and in our relationships. We can expect more abundance and success during this phase, which is further helped along by the positive aspect of both Jupiter and Pluto.

“Love is the great miracle cure. Loving ourselves works miracles in our lives.”- Louise L. Hay

It’s a turning point, leaving the old way of being behind and opening the doors to new beginnings and our true destiny and fate as Saturn is now at 29 degrees, the degree of completion and self-mastery representing the ending of an important cycle.

We have completed the Saturn lessons needed to be learned, about our ways of relating and loving, both to ourselves and others, leaving the old dysfunctional patterns behind. No more delusion of self or others but love based on truth and integrity and taking responsibility for our lives.

“The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own. No apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on, or blame. The gift is yours – it is an amazing journey – and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.”― Bob Moawad

At his New Moon, both Jupiter and Mercury are aspecting the North Node of fate and it is a sensitive karmic turning point in time, that has the power to open a portal to your inner inspiration, wisdom, dreams and intuition, revealing your next crucial step on your life path destiny. Sudden revelations can become apparent, illuminating the road to new pathways of possibilities and opening new doors that you never thought possible or believed yourself capable of achieving before.

Saturn, who represents the wise old soul, conjoined to the New Moon, is helping us to access our inner wisdom and to discern our truth, which is the very basis, for making wise decisions that we may find ourselves confronted with. The influence of Saturn, urges us to take responsibly for creating a better future and to make conscious decisions based on sound judgement and wisdom instead of dogmatic opinions and delusions.

Saturn, Venus and the New Moon, make a wonderful aspect to the planet Uranus, the awakener. We are awakening to a higher consciousness, that is triggered by this New Moon. The more awake we are, the more we can recognise and embrace the Truth.
